Tom Thacker (musician)

Thomas Arnold "Tom" Thacker (born April 11, 1974〔http://noisey.vice.com/en_ca/blog/tom-thacker-of-gob-and-sum-41-interview〕) is the lead guitarist and lead singer for Canadian punk rock group Gob, as well as a producer. Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1993. Thacker is also the co-lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Sum 41. In 2006, he was hired as Sum 41's touring guitarist, replacing former guitarist Dave Baksh, who left the band for nine years, returning in 2015. Thacker became an official band member in 2009.
Thacker has been in films ''Going the Distance'' and ''Sharp as Marbles''. He is also a vegetarian. He was born in Langley, BC, Canada.〔http://www.orlandofloridaguide.com/entertainment/music/bands/gob/interview.htm〕
